It also provides convenient backup and restore options for encrypted data through iTunes File Sharing.
You can export unencrypted data in CSV format to the iTunes File Sharing folder for further use.
For enhanced security, the app offers an auto lock feature that can be customized according to your preferences.
The Pro version of this app includes additional features such as cloud synchronization, Face ID and Touch ID unlocking options, a password generator, and CSV import functionality.
When it comes to data security, this app excels. All data is encrypted, including entry names, category definitions, and the data itself. It utilizes AES or Blowfish algorithms with various key sizes (256, 192, or 128 bits) to encrypt your information.
To unlock the data file, a combination of the master password, algorithm type, and key size is used. The app does not store any hints about the encryption method employed.
Another layer of security is provided by a randomly generated "salt" combined with your master password. This helps protect against offline dictionary attacks.
The 512-bit "salt" and your master password are used to create the key that unlocks the data file. This key is then hashed 1000 times by SHA-256, making it difficult for brute force attacks to succeed.
In the event of multiple unsuccessful unlock attempts, the app supports auto destruction of the data file.
